Sonic Youth

Sonic Youth je kultni amerièki noise rock/post punk/experimentalni rock bend, jedan od najutjecajnijih bendova s indie scene. Karijeru su poèeli još 1981., tada kao dio no-wave pokreta, i još uvijek su aktivni. Štoviše, još uvijek snimaju jako dobre albume, poput prošlogodišnjeg Rather Ripped. Èlanovi benda su: Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo i Steve Shelley. Njihov album Daydream Nation iz 1988. smatra se remek-djelom.
